I'm an administrator, which means I can delete, undelete, protect, and unprotect pages, edit protected pages, review the text of deleted pages, block and unblock users, and close AfD, CfD, TfD, RfD, MfD, and DR debates. If you need any of these tasks done, or require assistance with a backlog, leave a comment. If you disagree with an action I made, require assistance with bots, need information from a database query, or require assistance in any other area, leave a message on my talk page. For information about me, see my user page. If the icon on the top right of these pages is green, you can also contact me very quickly via IRC. I am ST47 on the Freenode network, and can also be found in #wikipedia. (If the icon is yellow, I'm probably working on a backlog somewhere, but I'm still available.)

This page is a place where I can store stuff related to my admin activities: links to my logs, any long-term projects, some actions, and general messages from me will be posted here. If you need something admin-related done (review deleted text, backlogs, and so on), post it in my inbox, where I will see it and act on it quickly. This is only for requests, comments on my actions should still be on my normal talk page. The desk is archived to my talk page 24 hours after you post your request.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&page=Image:Crocs_logo.jpg 1. Please undelete this image and notify me if/when that's done - I'll add the appropriate Fair Use rationale. Thanks. 2. Can you look at CSD:I6 and my request to harmonize it with I7? I7 requires notification, but I6 doesn't, and that's bad. --Lexein 02:01, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion of user page

User:Sparkzilla Would you mind restoring my user page. Thank you. 219.123.156.18 06:39, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Can you log into that account and make your request? I would like to be sure of your identity. Thanks, --ST47Talk·Desk 10:32, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
I have added the text to the talk page[1] and look forward to you restoring my user page. Thank you. 219.123.156.18 06:41, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

It seems that my "List of members of the Liver Sketching Club, Liverpool" has been removed because someone thinks is not appropriate for Wikipedia.

The list contained information which has already proved to be useful to people who are researching Liverpool artists and already I have received several communications from people either with questions about past members or who wish to add to the information already known. The page was not there to promote the club - virtually all of the artists mentioned are past members and many of them are long dead. It is a factual list of members along with brief biographies of most of them. This is the oldest art club in the north west - possibly in the UK and is worthy of mention in Wikipedia. Many of the artists mentioned were of sufficient stature and reputation to also be worthy of mention.

Could this be re-instated, please?

[edit] Article Problem

Hello, could you please redirect Black & Decker DustBuster back to DustBuster

I didn't mean to completely move it, I was trying to create a redirect. (I love entei (talk) 04:37, 7 December 2007 (UTC))

[edit] CompUSA article - Candidate for Semi-Protection

ST47 - Could you do me a big favor, and look into doing a semi-protect on the CompUSA article? During the past few weeks, there have been a few users, both unregistered and newly registered, that have performed edits SOLELY for the purposes of venting and / or editorialising. (This can be readily verified by looking through the history.) Right now, there are a LOT of disgruntled employees out there, some of which have brought their angst over their stores closing, to Wikipedia... Edit Centric (talk) 05:17, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't appear to be active enough to warrant semiprotection, however if it continues and the frequency increases, it may. --uǝʌǝsʎʇɹnoɟʇs(st47) 12:17, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Collusion Syndicate - Candidate for something or other?

Let me begin by explaining I am new to this and am doing the best I can to learn the rules.

  • It has been flagged by your bot for being "blatant advertising". I'm not sure I understand how this is determined and it I would contend that it is impossible for that to be true in that it is not a business and is for all practical purposes a dead group since 2002.
  • It has also been flagged for notability. I submitted the afore mentioned Hacker Group which is similar to other groups like the [Cult of the Dead Cow] which I see are listed in the wiki. I included news articles and media clips wherein the groups spokesperson is being quoted or interviewed and in one case it is from a Washington Post/Austin Stateman article wherein the reporters are using the goups leader's statements in contrast to statements made by the President and Attorney General.

It is interesting to note that the person placing the flag for notability suggests that the media is not for the group but for the spokesperson. Really? The article should be about the spokesperson?
I've reviewed these articles and everything seems like I'm doing it right:

I appoligize if this is not the correct forum. I've also posted here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Collusion_Syndicate Please advise if I'm supposed to be doing something different as I'm really trying to contribute what I'm certain is important Internet cultural information but am obviously not doing it quite right.
Thanks for any help you can offer!!! - - Operknockity (talk) 00:17, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Jealousy screwedcover.jpg

Hi, can you send me a copy of that image? (Image:Jealousy screwedcover.jpg) I saw on the deletion log that you deleted it, and I can't find anywhere on the internet. I would like to have a copy of it, for private use (on my music library). Is that possible for you? :DJhn* 18:16, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Can you send me my deleted page, called Hervey S. Ross. I would like to review the text and the process whereby it was deleted, and determine whether it qualifies to be restored. Thanks. Dircomguy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dircomguy (talkcontribs) 20:46, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
