[edit] Metric system

Your edit to the Metric system article was only partially successful. The article did change, but the text that resulted was not a sensible article about the metric system. I have changed the article back to the way it was before your change. Feel free to ask on my User talk:Gerry Ashton if you want help in editing this article. --Gerry Ashton 18:02, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Because St.Jimmy666 was trying to copy and paste text straight from http://lamar.colostate.edu/~hillger/internat.htm.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Ladydeath medieval.jpg

Image:Ladydeath medieval.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Your comments have been commented upon at AN/I

Hi! Your comments have been bought up at WP:ANI#Talk:Seung-Hui Cho. Could you set the record straight? Cheers. LessHeard vanU (talk) 13:35, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

.......er, thanks for the clarification (sort of!) Hmmmm... the major part of all these recent massacres and stuff is that the people who carried them out end up dead. This would give people who daydream about carrying out similar acts a problem; if they don't believe in life after death, then they will never know how notorious they became and if they do - well, they are burning in Hell/Hades/Halifax and are not really enjoying (non)life much. Since we are all going to die anyway it makes more sense to strive to be remembered as someone who made a really good Baked Alaskan (it's a cake!) than a misfit who killed a bunch of kids! Mind you, being remembered as a misfit who made a really good Baked Alaskan might be a bit cool. Cheers. LessHeard vanU (talk) 14:44, 22 December 2007 (UTC) ps. I am 48; you probably think I am already half dead (and you might be right) but it does mean I have a clue about this bollocks. ;~)

[edit] January 2008

Hi, the recent edit you made to Psychopathic Records has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Psychopathic The Videos DVD Cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Psychopathic The Videos DVD Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:33, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Nice pic...

...but its fairly large to be in a userbox, isnt it?the juggreserection IstKrieg! 14:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

i used your pic for a template to go up at the top of the talk pages. You can find it at (take a wild guess) the news section of the project. Meanwhile, i am still trying to get more members in, if you could help spread the word, it would be greatly appreciated. MMFWCL the juggreserection IstKrieg! 13:47, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, good picture. but i suggest changing the userbox color from red to green. just a thought.the juggreserection IstKrieg! 13:37, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of The R.O.C

A tag has been placed on The R.O.C requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 13:27, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
