[edit] How to request permission on plaque material

The plaque photo with the article is valuable, I think, but it might get attacked on copyright grounds. Who put it up, so that we might properly request permission to use it? doncram (talk) 21:04, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

In particular this is about a plaque near the church that reads, as follows: "St. Peter's Church was originally constructed in 1715 located at the center of State Street at Chapel Street, upon land granted by King George I. This stone structure stood until 1802, when a second church was erected at the North West corner of State and Lodge Streets. The present St. Peter's Church was constructed in 1859." Before the text, there is a map and an image of a church, labelled English Church. The text is all in capital letters, i have down-cased the wording here. This from a photo labelled "Informational commemorative plaque concerning St. Peter's Episcopal Church located in between lanes of traffic on State Street in downtown Albany, NY. Photographed 10 January 2008." taken and uploaded by Adam Lenhardt.
