[edit] Cleanup
This disambiguation page was marked for cleanup per WP:MOSDAB. I removed the following entries for not belonging on a dab page:
- St. Martinville, Louisiana -- not known as "St. Martin"
- Several places in France: -- for being redlinks with no hope of article creation soon
- Saint-Martin, Gers, in the Gers département
- Saint-Martin, Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle département
- Saint-Martin, Morbihan, in the Morbihan département
- Saint-Martin, Hautes-Pyrénées, in the Hautes-Pyrénées département
- Saint-Martin, Pyrénées-Orientales, in the Pyrénées-Orientales département
- Saint-Martin, Bas-Rhin, in the Bas-Rhin département
- Saint-Martin, Var, in the Var département
- Several places in Austria: -- for being redlinks with no hope of article creation soon
- St. Martin, Lower Austria, a town in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria
- Sankt Martin am Tennengebirge, a town in the district of St. Johann im Pongau in the state of Salzburg
- Sint Maarten (Netherlands), in the municipality of Harenkarspel -- not spelled "St. Martin"
- all entries in the "Part of the name of" section [1] -- because WP:MOSDAB#Examples of individual entries that should not be created and Wikipedia is not a directory (and almost all of them were redlinks with no hope of article creation soon anyway)

- I moved the 7 French ones back as these are municipalities and listed in the corresponding municipality lists. Besides all of them have articles on fr:Saint-Martin.
- The entries under "part of the name of" include many French town where a disambiguator is traditionally added to the name of "St. Martin". I'd include those on this disambiugation page as well. -- User:Docu
