[edit] Can't use copyright text from other web sites

On April 1, 2007, anonymous editor 203.142.178.20 added text which appears to be copied from a UBC web page, UBC Grad Studies: Housing for the UBC Graduate Community: St. John's College. This web page is copyright UBC, so we can't use it in Wikipedia without permission. See Wikipedia:Copyrights. Also, the text is a bit more marketing-oriented than I think is appropriate for Wikipedia. Thus I reverted that contribution. I encourage editors to improve the entry for St. John's. But please don't violate any copyright. Make your encyclopedic content attributable to a reliable source. --Jdlh | Talk 18:31, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
