There are 17 municipalities within St. Charles County, not 21. They are: Augusta, Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, Flint Hill, Foristell, Josephville, Lake St. Louis, New Melle, O'Fallon, Portage Des Sioux, St. Charles, St. Paul, St. Peters, Weldon Spring, Weldon Spring Heights, Wentzville and West Alton; Source: Corporate Limits PDF file. The remainder, Defiance, Harvester, Matson and Orchard Farm are Census Designated Places within unincorporated areas. I've proposed moving this page to its abbreviated form St. Charles County, Missouri as it is by its abbreviated form that St. Charles County is known by itself and throughout Greater St. Louis. --Millbrooky (talk) 15:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
