St. Rose Academy (Mayfield, Pennsylvania)

Saint Rose Academy is a private high school in Mayfield, Pennsylvania. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Scranton, however is not considered a "Catholic" school.

The school was established in 2005 to replace Sacred Heart High School, which the Diocese elected to close after the 2004-2005 school year. The new school is not operated with the blessing of the Bishop and is not considered a Catholic school. However, the school does follow Catholic theology and is mostly attended by Catholic students.
