The St. Petersburg Open (Russian: Открытый Санкт-Петербург) is a tennis tournament held in the city of St. Petersburg, in the country of Russia. Held since 1995, both men's singles and doubles are held at the tournament.
Swedish player Thomas Johansson (2002 Australian Open singles champion) and Russian player Marat Safin (2000 US Open and 2005 Australian Open singles champion) are the only players to win the singles titles more than once. Johansson also holds the record for most singles final appearances (won in 1997 and 2005, lost the final in 2006).
Three different Russian players won the singles title: Kafelnikov (1995), Safin (2000 and 2001) and Youzhny (2004).
