St. Mary's Roman Catholic High School is one of the longest running schools in Croydon, having been founded over 140 years ago. It has expanded over the years and now caters for about 720 boys and girls, the majority of whom are Catholic but the school is attended by pupils of other faiths.The head teacher is Mr Ejiro Ughbough. It is the 9th best improved school in the country for GCSE and the percentages are increasing every year.
