St. Mary's High School is a private, four year, co-educational Roman Catholic comprehensive high school in Stockton, California. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockton. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and by the Western Catholic Education Association.
Mission Statement We at St. Mary's are proud of our Catholic heritage, our own traditions, and our history in the Stockton community. Because we believe that human beings are the pinnacle of God's creation on earth, we at St. Mary's strive to develop the total person - spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically. We realize that we must continue to be unique and contemporary, dedicated to developing students who possess the necessary skills for the future and who make choices which reflect Christian values. Our common goal as a community is to stress value-based instruction and academic excellence.
Expectations of our Graduates Saint Mary's High School graduates will to the best of their abilities:
• respect and appreciate the differences and similarities of the human condition thus empowering them to understand people throughout their lives.
• make moral decisions based on their understanding of Christian values and so apply the message and teaching of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church.
• endeavor to experience prayer which fosters a personal relationship with God.
• participate in campus life beyond the classroom in order to develop and share their talents and gifts and to form a balanced outlook on life.
• participate through curricular requirements and extracurricular opportunities in Christian community service and so acquire a moral and social conscience.
• demonstrate the fundamental academic skills necessary to pursue post-secondary education and career opportunities and be able to read, listen, and communicate effectively.
• develop the necessary critical skills in order to apply basic knowledge and academic skills to new situations.
• participate in a variety of forms of physical activity and understand the importance of physical fitness in their lives.

Location The school is located on North El Dorado Street, one mile east of San Joaquin Delta Community College and two miles north of the University of the Pacific.
Campus Located on twenty-five acres are four classroom buildings, a cafeteria, two state of the art gyms, a football field, a brand new swimming complex, track facilities, baseball and soccer fields, five tennis courts, and athletic facilities for a weight room and team sports. Recently the school opened The Lagorio Family Academic Center which houses the school library, administrative and counseling offices, classrooms, and In addition, there is a student chapel, a residence for the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales priests and brothers.
Size
Current enrollment is 1091 students. 36% of the total sudent body represent Black, Hispanic, Asian, and American Indian minority groups. The faculty cosists of 6 Religious (Priests, Brothers, and Sisters) and 82 lay teachers and support staff. Student/Faculty ratio is 17/1.

St. Mary's was established in 1876 by the Dominican Sisters. The school was served by the Franciscans from 1957-1967. Today it is operated by the Diocese and served by the Domincan Sisters and the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. The school moved to its present location in 1956.[1]

The school's current principal is National Football League referee Pete Morelli.
In 2004 the St. Mary's Varsity Football Team won the school's first and only D-1 Sac-Joaquin Section Championship. SM def. Nevada Union of Grass Valley 50-45.
