St. Martin's Episcopal School, located in Greater New Orleans (Metairie), Louisiana, is a coeducational, independent college preparatory day school for students from prekindergarten through twelfth grade. One of the most challenging academic curriculi in the New Orleans area, St. Martin's students attend prestigious colleges and universities.
It is also home to one of the region's better boys soccer programs going to 4 state finals in the last 5 years. The 07-08 baseball team earned the district 10-1A championship & got as far as state semi-finals this year. Both boys and girls basketball teams qualified for state playoffs this year. Boys high school cross-country team finished 2nd in Louisiana. Boys & girls track teams were both distric champions.
The 2007-08 year marked St. Martin's 5th Habitat for Humanity house built by faculty & students.
In the 2008-09 school year, St. Martins will begin integrating Project Adventure across its curriculum and culture.
The school's alumni include former U.S. Congressman Bob Livingston, Olympic gold metalist swimmer, Ashley Tappin, George Bott (film director), Kirk Talbot (Louisiana state representative), Scott Gold (author).
