St. Louis Walk of Fame

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The St. Louis Walk of Fame honors people from the St. Louis area who made contributions to United States culture. It is set into the sidewalks of Delmar Boulevard in the Delmar Loop area of University City, Missouri, and consists of 113 brass stars and bronze plaques, each containing the inductee's name and a summary of his or her accomplishments. The Walk was founded by Joe Edwards, proprietor of the landmark Blueberry Hill restaurant in the area, and was likely inspired by the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
