St. Leonhard in Passeier (German); Italian: San Leonardo in Passiria) is a comune (municipality) in Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 80 km north of Trento and about 35 km north of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,402 and an area of 88.4 km².[1]

The municipality contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sant'Orsola and Valtina. Its bordering municipalities (Italian names in parentheses) are Moos in Passeier (Moso in Passiria), Ratschings (Racines), Riffian (Rifiano), St. Martin in Passeier (San Martino in Passiria), Sarntal (Sarentino), and Schenna (Scena).
