St. Karen's School

St. Karen's High School, Patna, was established in 1965 by Mr. Donald P. Galstaun and his wife, Mrs Lesley Galstaun (nee Webb). The husband-wife pair form part of Patna's elite Anglo-Indian community.
Located in the serene surroundings of Gola Road, Danapur, the school is now ranked among the best institutions of its kind in Bihar. It has the distinction of being affiliated to both, the Central Board of Secondary Education and the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education.
St. Karen's Secondary School was established in 1990, with Mr. Phillip Vincente D'Souza as its first principal (C.B.S.E.-branch). Mr Phillip held his position until December 2001. Then Mr. Llewllyn Galstaun, son of Mr. Donald. P. Galstaun, took charge. The new building is located on the Khagaul road, near Danapur railway station. It isstill expanding.The present Principal is Mr.KURYOKANT KOSE. This school has now attained the reputation of being one of the best schools in Patna.
