St. John's Seminary, located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States, serves the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, and other dioceses of New England including, the Diocese of Springfield, the Diocese of Burlington, VT, the Diocese of Manchester, NH, and others. It is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools.[1] The current rector and president is the Reverend Arthur Kennedy, a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston.

Construction began in 1881, and the school was completed in 1884. The first students began classes there on September 22, 1884.[2]

Boston College agreed to purchase 43 acres of the seminary's property in June, 2004. The archdiocese sold the land to ward off bankruptcy. However, the seminary remains open.
