Saint "St." James High School is a large 2 floor school in Horry County, South Carolina on S.C. 707 and Salem Road in the community of Burgess. The school's mascot is the shark. It is one of Horry County's newest schools. It was built in early 2000's because of Socastee High School's crowded classrooms. Ronnie Burgess was the school's first principal from when it opened until 2006 when he went to Academy for Arts, Science & Technology.
