(33.940918, -78.102045).According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.5 square miles (9.0 km²).3.5 square miles (9.0 km²) of it is land and 0.29% is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 804 people, 385 households, and 344 families residing in the town. The population density was 231.4 people per square mile (89.5/km²). There were 618 housing units at an average density of 177.9/sq mi (68.8/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.89% White, 0.37% African American, 0.62% Asian, 0.50% Pacific Islander, and 0.62% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.62% of the population.
There were 385 households out of which 6.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 88.6% were married couples living together, 0.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 10.4% were non-families. 8.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.09 and the average family size was 2.18.
In the town the population was spread out with 5.7% under the age of 18, 1.0% from 18 to 24, 7.5% from 25 to 44, 63.9% from 45 to 64, and 21.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 59 years. For every 100 females there were 97.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.9 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $92,656, and the median income for a family was $93,930. Males had a median income of $77,964 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the town was $50,567. None of the population or families were below the poverty line.
