From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
St. Henry's Cathedral in Helsinki, Finland, is dedicated to Henry, Bishop of Uppsala. It was constructed between 1858-1860. Since Finland is predominantly Lutheran, the church was intended primarily for use by Catholic foreigners.
The church is the main Catholic church in Helsinki, and offers Mass in many languages.
The architecture of the church is Neo-Gothic with statues of St. Henry, St. Peter and St. Paul decorating the exterior.
