The school is apart of the National Catholic Educational Association(NCEA). St. Gabriel serves grades Kindergarten to the Eighth grade. The institution has an enrollment of about 765 students.[1]
Rachel Maloney, an 11-year old of the school in 1998 won the contest changing the name of the local minor league baseball team from the Red Birds to the Louisville River Bats.[2]
