St. Gabriel the Archangel Elementary School is a Catholic School within the Archdiocese of Louisville. The school is located in Fern Creek of Louisville.

The school is apart of the National Catholic Educational Association(NCEA). St. Gabriel serves grades Kindergarten to the Eighth grade. The institution has an enrollment of about 765 students.[1]

Rachel Maloney, an 11-year old of the school in 1998 won the contest changing the name of the local minor league baseball team from the Red Birds to the Louisville River Bats.[2]
