Located beside two Public High Schools, Eden and Lakeport Secondary; St. Francis is a catholic high school and is one of three Catholic Secondary schools found in St. Catharines, Ontario. St. Francis generally covers the north end of the city and is the smallest of nine high schools within the Niagara Catholic District School Board. However, has been noted to contribute just as many extra-circular activities as the larger high schools within the region. Overall, St. Francis is a very prestigious high school and is well thought-off from the students, staff and neighboring residence.
[edit] Uniform
As all catholic secondary schools in the Niagara Region, St. Francis is a uniformed school. The uniform is provided by R.J. McCarthy's. St. Francis has been know to have a stricter uniform policy in comparison to other schools. For example, St. Francis is one of the very few schools where girls cannot ware the girls' dress pants and must wear the boys McCarthy's style pants. All dress shirts and cardigans are emblazoned with the "SF" St. Francis logo.
