St. Don Bosco's College, Lakhimpur is an English Language College, a prominent missionary institute for learning. The alumni of the school are the flag-bearers of Lakhimpur Kheri across the nation.
It is owned and managed by "The Catholic Diocese of Lucknow". St. Don Bosco's College, Lakhimpur was founded in November, 1979. It was started with the object of imparting modern education to the students in a manner that will conserve their religion, language, script and culture. The college aims at the integral and personal formation of young boys / girls by giving them an education which is morally, physically and mentally sound. In keeping with the national aspiration, it helps students to become mature spiritually oriented men / women of character and active, useful and worthy citizens of India. The college encourages the boys and girls to keep their ideals high and to strive for excellence in every field. It endeavours to inculcate into them the value of freedom and its judicious respect for law and order. It teaches them to abide by moral principles to be unselfish in the service of their country and fellowmen.

The school is divided into four houses,namely, St Don Bosco's House, St Patrick's House, St Domonic Savio House and St Francis' House. Each house has its own flag. The color for Don Bosco's House is red, for Patrick's is green, for Francis' is blue and for Dominic Savio it is yellow. Throughout the year various events are organised demanding an active participation from all the four houses. The house with outstanding performance in all the events is awarded the Best House Trophy at the end of the year.
