St. Columba’s College

St. Columba's College is a premier Constituent Unit of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag established in 1899, by Dublin University Mission, UK, it is one of the oldest multi-faculty institutions of higher education in Eastern India. Earlier it was affiliated to Calcutta University, Patna University, Bihar University and Ranchi University.
It imparts Degree (Honours) level teaching in 16 subjects of Arts and Science and up to Post Graduate level in five Science subjects. About 4000 students are admitted to various courses offered by this institution. There are about 80 well qualified and experienced teachers involved in teaching, research and other academic activities.
