Saint Cabrini Home (formerly the Sacred Heart Orphan Asylum or the Sacred Heart Orphanage) is a non-profit human services organization that provides compassionate care to New York State youth at risk. Located in West Park, Ulster County, New York, the agency provides residential, educational, clinical, medical, and substance abuse services to adolescent girls on its campus and boys and girls in group homes in Dutchess and Orange counties of New York. Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini personally established the Sacred Heart Orphan Asylum, today known as Saint Cabrini Home, in 1890.
Saint Cabrini Home has the honor of being the first burial site of Mother Cabrini, when she was entombed here after her death on December 22, 1917. In 1931, her remains were exhumed from West Park and are now enshrined on display under glass in the church's altar at St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in New York City.
