From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

St. Augustine's College is an all-boys senior secondary boarding school in Ghana. There are about 1500 pupils, aged between 12 and 19 years with 60 full-time and 6 part-time teachers.

The school was founded in 1930 initially to train teachers, but later converted to a secondary school.

The school is currently one of the premier secondary schools[citation needed] in Ghana and has produced several leaders in the country. Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, current Minister of Public Sector Reform in Ghana and soccer star Michael Essien are past students of the school.[citation needed]

Boarding houses at the school include St. Peter's, Glynn, St. Patrick's, St. Stephen's, St. Theresa's, Luke's, George's, John's, Joseph's and Kelly houses.
