St. Anthony Dining Room

The St. Anthony Dining Room is a charitable institution in the Tenderloin, San Francisco, California. It was founded in 1950 by Franciscan friar Alfred Boeddeker to serve free meals to the poor in an ordinary restaurant-like setting.
The St. Anthony Dining Room has provided the poor of San Francisco with acceptance and respect as well as over fifty million meals since its founding.
