St. Anne Township is located in the southwest quarter of Kankakee County, Illinois. The population was 2,108 at the 2000 census. It includes the Village of St. Anne and Wichert.
St. Anne Township was created in March 1857 from parts of Aroma and Momence townships.
It is located at 41.033135 N, -87.717112 W. It has 78.39 km² (30 sq mi). (30.27 square miles) of land and 0.102 km². (3.94 square miles) covered by water. It has 842 housing units.

The township is governed by an elected Town Board of a Supervisor and four Trustees. The Township also has an elected Assessor, Clerk, Highway Commissioner and Supervisor. The Township Office is located at 471 West Sheffield, St. Anne, IL 60964.
