[edit] New York?

Was there not a store in the New York City metropolitan area? (possibly in New Jersey?) -- Petri Krohn 16:24, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Houston

There was a stor in houston, i dont think this article is very complete. I updated it to include Houston.

[edit] Store layout was copyrighted?

Did STOR really have to change their store layout due specifically to "copyright infringement?" I wouldn't think that could be copyrighted. --Fxer 18:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

According to this [1] it looks more like the catalog and furniture replication were the legal issues, as a "retail concept" is hard to protect legally, apparently. --Fxer 18:42, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] California

The Burbank location referenced in the article was purpose-built as an IKEA store. The writer presumably had this location confused with Tustin, which was originally a Stør location. IKEA did in fact take over this building, and operated it as an IKEA store for a time.

The Tustin IKEA store was closed approximately in conjunction with the opening of the (purpose-built) Covina store.

I did not edit the article because I do not have a reference for this information. Sterling Gillette 22:27, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
