Ståle Schumacher

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ståle Schumacher (born May 4, 1972 in Bærum, Norway) played a major role in making the program Pretty Good Privacy available outside of the United States. One of his contributions to this task was supervising the scanning in and OCRing of PGP source code which had been printed out (since printed material on cryptography was allowed to be exported from the United States while software was not).
