SSH Communications Security

SSH Communications Security is a Finnish company that is based in Helsinki and was founded by Tatu Ylönen in 1995. It is known as the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol and it currently has about 80 employees. In 2006 its revenue numbered 9,5 million euros while the loss was 0,2 million. The company's CEO is Arto Vainio. The biggest shareholders are Tatu Ylönen, Assetman Oy, and Tero Kivinen.

It is the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol.

SSH Communications Security (SSH1V) has been listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange since 2000.
