SS Gustaf E. Reuter

SS Gustaf E. Reuter was a 418.9 x 55.1 x 32.1 foot 6.336 tons Swedish motor tanker with 543 hp oil engines from the company Rederi A/B Reut built in 1928 on shipyard Eriksbergs MV.

On a voyage from Haugesund to Curacao she was torpedoed and sunk by U-48 at 00.30 on November 27, 1939 at the position 59°38′N, 02°03′W, 14 miles west-northwest from Fair Isle and broke in two. The wreck was sunk by an escort vessel the next day. 1 person died while 33 survived.
