Stadia
I'd created the stubbed articles so that ALoan's featured list would have all blue links for Indian stadia. The infobox could be jazzed up a bit. There's too much of bold text, some padding needs to be added and bulleted lists could be introduced. =Nichalp «Talk»= 07:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- See the template in use for Indian states. User:Saravask had designed the new templates. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 08:20, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

- Srikeit, There is a template for the stadiums already. It is Infobox Cricket Ground. Please use that instead of creating a India specific one. - Ganeshk (talk) 15:53, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

NUST
Hi. I had already seen the photo when you added it as NUST is on my watchlist. Though the photo is nice, it is a bit blurred. I am planning to take a few pics this week as we have a cul-fest at college where I'll be taking my camera. I have not yet expanded the article yet because of a 2 reasons - 1) I am currently busy with the Ahmedabad article (I also noticed the links you added there in the media section) and also with reverting vandalism. 2)Loyola is something very close to my heart. I can never generate that much affection for Nirma.
But whether I like Nirma or not, that article is certainly going to be improved by me soon. I think I will be able to contribute at the current rate only for a week now. Then I have exams. From May 6 onwards I plan to set wikipedia on fire with my edits. One of my top priorities is to get Ahmedabad article to FA status. Do take some pictures of Ahmedabad like you did for Nirma.
Anyways, it is getting really late, and I have to go to college tomorrow. - Aksi_great (talk) 19:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

A Download Is Now Available
I just wanted to let you know that a download of VandalProof has recently been made available. AmiDaniel (Talk) 09:51, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Happy Easter!
Please put all tasty Easter wishes here!
VandalProof 1.1 is Now Available For Download
Happy Easter to all of you, and I hope that this version may fix your current problems and perhaps provide you with a few useful new tools. You can download version 1.1 at User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof. Let me warn you, however, to please be extremely careful when using the new Rollback All Contributions feature, as, aside from the excessive server lag it would cause if everyone began using it at once, it could seriously aggitate several editors to have their contributions reverted. If you would like to experiment with it, though, I'd be more than happy to use my many sockpuppets to create some "vandalism" for you to revert. If you have any problems downloading, installing, or otherwise, please tell me about them at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs and I will do my best to help you. Thanks. AmiDaniel (Talk) 06:50, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Watch what you're reverting please
This was a legit edit; though he didn't revert fully, he shouldn't have been reverted. BTW, your pic in your /haha page may be deleted in 7 days if you don't provide a source and license data --Rory096(block) 17:22, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Heh, no problem. There can't have been much of a time gap between our reverts, we both warned him at the same time ;) Adrian(Talk) 06:05, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for doing that. My exam prep is going fine. It is very difficult to stay away from wiki (am trying hard). Just making 1-2 edits here and there, no major contributions. - Aksi_great (talk) 07:11, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Changes in Teeing ground
I made the changes while not logged in, but I'm also a wikipedian (check my page below). I removed the word "rectangular" because not all teeing grounds are rectangular and it was misleading. I'm sorry if you thought I was doing it carelessly, I understand why you have reverted it. My fault for not logging in.
Nevertheless, the fact remains that not all teeing grounds are rectangular, so you might want to let it be. But I'm not gonna fight back if you don't :) --Doppelgangland 09:59, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's what this is all about. Not being vengeful and try to make this sort of wikidemocracy work. I've found that having one's changes reverted every now and then does not have to be like being slapped in the face. It teaches you a valuable lesson about how you may not be "right" because "right" really does not exist. Makes you have to prove your point, which is a process likely to make you learn new things. Cheers! --Doppelgangland 12:51, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Question
Hi there. I know that "Panjabi MC" with an 'a' looks weird, but isn't that the way it is supposed to be? Even the official website doesn't use the 'u'. Therefore, did the article need to be reverted? Thanks. Thistheman 17:24, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

- Good job on reverting the edit made by this user. This was probably in ill-faith. Users are not permitted to reveal personal information of other users on Wikipedia. This might be considered as harrassment. The offending edits have been removed from Wikipedia by proper admin action. Keep it up! --Andy123(talk) 15:21, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Identity guidelines
Revealing personal information is very frowned upon and strictly perhibited, as per the Privacy Policy. Saying that a user is from Canada is not considered a violation, but specific details such as name, address, and age, unless already disclosed by the user, is in violation of the policy. _-M o P-_ 16:01, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
-
- Look up Wikipedia:Harassment, which clearly states: Posting another person's personal information (legal name, home or workplace address, telephone number, email address, or other contact information, regardless of whether the information is actually correct) is almost always harassment. This is because it places the other person at unjustified and uninvited risk of harm in "the real world" or other media. This applies whether the person whose personal information is being revealed is a Wikipedia editor or not. Regards, --Andy123(talk) 16:07, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Re:Edit count
As per your request, I checked out your editcounts using Interiot's tool 2. You have exactly 1200 edits. You have edited 622 distinct pages. The average edit per page is 1.929. {main} edits: 505, Talk edits: 36, User edits: 132, User talk: 406, Image: 8, Template: 14, Category: 4, Wikipedia: 68, Wikipedia talk: 27. Hope this resolves your matter. I think, you should carefully follow the instructions on the Interiot Tool 2 page, and you will be able to work it out yourself. Regards, --Andy123(talk) 17:06, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
To interject for a moment, the instructions can be found here.
To spare you from going there, you only need to add these lines to your monobook:
document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="' + 'http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Interiot/Tool2/code.js' + '&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>');
After that, you should be able to get your edit count here.

√αʑʑρεɾ
I thought that I hadexplained myself. I know this certain person in RL, and he has on numerous occasions vandalized my userpage. I felt that his name should become known to others that he knows from RL. Furthermore, he himself has added my name to my user and talk pages on two occasions. I understand that have broken certain wiki-policies, but must point out that you have taken an unnecessary grouchy tone and to an extent broken the Wikipedia:Assume good faith policy. Now lets leave this behind us and have a mohito, -√αʑʑρεɾ 01:00, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

195.188.152.12 09:43, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
I suggest you revisit the definition of Wikipedia:Vandalism before you go throwing the term around willy nilly. 195.188.152.12 07:57, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
"Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Apparent bad-faith edits that do not make their bad-faith nature inarguably explicit are not considered vandalism at Wikipedia." 195.188.152.12 08:33, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Please show me where it states that an edit summary is required. You seem obsessed with the presence/absence of an edit summary and seem to assume the absence of one is an automatic indication of vandalism.195.188.152.12 09:07, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
"When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.
Yes it is not compulsory to leave edit summaries. But as said above the abscence of edit summaries & the fact that you are editing as an IP address & the fact that you have a history of vandalism warnings, will make your edits look like vandalism."
This seems to be your personal interpretation. And also you do not seem to understand that the IP address is shared by many thousands of users and a history of warnings is quite irrelevant. 195.188.152.12 09:17, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Spliff article
I have lived in almost every english speaking country in the world and i have also experimented with recreational drugs in those countries and i have never come across the term "crutch" for that part of a spliff. so surely anyone could make up a new term for absolutly anything and claim that it is local slang and just add it to wikipedia. so excuse me for trying to cut out the bullsh*t —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.5.167.119 (talk • contribs) 11:41 22 April 2006 (UTC)

My IP changes every time I log in and several genuine wiki contributors have the same group of IPs I do. But don't worry about it I'm bored now and won't be doing any more vanadlism today.

Hello Srikeit. Thanks for the offer, but I would like to wait another month at least. I still have a few things I want to do before then - eg, write some articles on Statistical mechanics, Quantum algebras - I promised myself that I would put some "serious content" on wikipedia. Also, I have only been around for 5 months (4 of them strongly, the other moderately). I'm also always worried about how things may turn out. License tagging for Image:Haryana.ogg
Thanks for uploading Image:Haryana.ogg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:04, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

User page design

Now, if you continue editing at this rate (I'm not saying you have to, but just theoretically), in a few days you would probably get lotso support votes from lotso users on an RFA. Hi. Thanks for the barnstar. That was quite unexpected. 500 per day!! You have gone crazy!!! And you seem to be getting 1 barnstar every day too. Great work. I would be glad to support your nomination. But a few suggestions. Try and get experience of other areas of wikipedia for 15-20 days. Especially WP:RfAs so that you know what other editors demand from you. Also spend some time (if you haven't) at CSD, Articles that need wikification, disambiguation, Peer Review, FAC, AfD, etc. so that you are more qualified as an all round editor and also come to interact with wikipedians who don't spend time vandal whacking. Some nice tips can be found here. Anyways, if you need any help, I will be free in a week's time. All the best. - Aksi_great (talk) 06:28, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
