Sreekrishnapuram is a small village near Cherpulachery in Palakkad District of Kerala state, south India.

  • This village has two major festivals 1) Uthrathil Kavil Pooram and 2) Pariyanampatta Kavu Pooram

The main slang used valluvanadan Malayalam by Hindus and eranadan Malayalam by muslims, Hindus are the majorities in Sreekrishnapuram. Christians are a minority in sreekrishnapuram. Still there is a church at skp, and another at katambazhipuram at 6 km from skp. The coming of Government Engineering College here is the major reason for the development of the place.

The name Sreekrishnapuram is originated from the Temple named "Sreekrishnapuram", it is situated near Sreekrishnapuram Punchapadam road.

The main attraction of any valluvanadan village are its people, especially beautiful valluvanadan girls. Eswaramangalam temple and pariyarampatta temple are famous through out the state.Mangalamkunnu Aana (elephants)tharavad ia also famous. Most famous elephants of kerala are from here.Say mangalamkunnu karnan. Vellinezhi some what near cherpulassery is blessed with Katakali artists, if name a few,late Kizhpadan Kumaran Nair and Kala. Ramankutty Nair are the best performers. GEC Sreekrishnapuram was started in the year 1999 at sreekrisnnapuram.AT present the main building is being built at Manampatta.
