Srb is a small town located in the southeastern part of Lika, Croatia. Srb lies in the Una River valley. As well, the town is on the road from Donji Lapac to Knin, and is east of Gračac. The population of Srb is 334 (Census 2001). On June 27th, 1941, Srb was the location of the first armed conflict between the newly-formed Partisans and the Ustaše in the Independent State of Croatia. In the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia this was accepted fact.
The census of 1991 claimed Srb to have a population of 5 254. 5246 people listed themselves as 'Serbs' and the remaining 8 as 'Other'. During the Oluja - Croatian war action, Srb was part of the Republic of Serbian Krajina.
