[edit] Stopping bot notices
To stop bots posting on your page, and either of the following to the top:
{{nobots}}
{{bots|deny=BetacommandBot,OrphanBot}}
The second would just stop the image-related bots from posting notices, whereas the first would stop all bot notices. Enjoy! Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 10:47, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Barnstar
Excellent work on the Bannered routes of U.S. Route 60 article. Good to see someone else interested in Missouri roads -- our articles on them need a lot of work! —Scott5114↗ 21:44, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Double Association
When you play Double Association, you need to play TWO words, not one. Squad51 (talk) 14:38, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't understand. I thought it had to relate to the previous two words. Sorry. S♦s♦e♦b♦a♦l♦l♦o♦s (Talk to Me) 22:53, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:International Building Code
HI, and sorry for the delayed response to your question about the National Register. The constition leaves local matters, such as codes under the jurisdiction of the states. They in turn, can devolve this power to cities. As a result, the Register is purely honorific. [1]. It does not confer any legal protection on a property. Only state laws, or state laws permitting cities to do so, can protect a property. As a result, if a state does not limit code compliance, then a structure must adhere to it. I practice architecture in Chicago, and I have to remind people of this all the time. I have also seen Register listed buildings, that do not have concurrent state or city protection, get drastically renovated or demolished. Hope this helps.Gary Joseph (talk) 10:35, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
