Squeezit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Squeezit was a fruit-flavored drink made by General Mills, marketed from the mid 80's until the beginning of 2001. The drink came in a plastic bottle that the drinker had to squeeze in order to extract the beverage from the container, hence the name. Each flavor had a different character designed intricately into the plastic bottle. This proved irresistible to children of all ages. It came in multiple flavors and editions, one of which contained "color pellets" that the drinker dropped into the bottle to change the color of the Squeez-it. Although it has not been verified, there was increasing speculation in the 1990's as to what ingredients were actually used in creating Squeezits.
