I think Jeeny left cuz she thought I vandeled her user page. I didn't though, but someone did. I can't find anything that suggested it though look at her history on her talk page and you'll see it, but it seems like that's the reason she left. Seth71 06:17, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Big Brother 8 (US). Thank you. Rjd0060 01:20, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry. It is not a huge deal or anything. It just helps. An edit summary should strive to answer the question, "Why did you make this edit?". Providing an edit summary, even if the edit is minor, makes Wikipedia work better by quickly explaining to other users what your change was about. That is from the article edit summary . It just helps that way when people look at the page's history, we know what your edit was about. If you look at that page, you should get a better understanding. There is even a photo of a page, and it shows what the edit summary box looks like. Hope this helps. - Rjd0060 03:25, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Miraclesscreencapep5.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Miraclesscreencapep5.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] FCC and BB
I wasn't referring to your comment when I said that. I was referring to "...by the way, wikipedia is second life for corporations, not an encyclopedia...", which is what Wanzhen said. Sorry for the confusion. - Rjd0060 14:38, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Ummmmm....I take some offense to the fact that you are saying that I should stop arguing. I am not one to sit on here and have a back and forth, back and forth argument. If you go through the conversation, it started with me and Wanzhen. I made my points, and that was it. It seems that Wanzhen and yourself are the ones that need to stop, if anybody. In my opinion YOU are absolutely 100% CORRECT and Wanzhen doesn't know what the heck he is talking about. I am assuming that you didn't really mean anything by saying that I should stop, but I just want to make sure. - Rjd0060 19:42, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Personal attacks
With regard to your comments on Talk:Big Brother 8 (US) : Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Specifically, please don't call other editors "idiots". It's an ad hominem that only makes your own position look less credible, plus it's a personal attack (see policy linked above). --Darkwind (talk) 21:42, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Argument with Wanzhen
No problem. As I was typing that message to you, I started thinking that I was just probably jumping to conclusions. I know that guy dont know what he's talking about. I wasn't going to say anything else in that conversation either, but then I saw a reply that he had made, so I said something back. I dont like to let people think they are right, when they are so obviously wrong. That guy made me mad too. I find it more entertaining than anything though. I am not going to say anything to him that would escalate the problem, however I am going to defend my actions, and defend Wikipedia policies. I am not going to let some (________) do stuff like that. I'll let you fill in the blank yourself! OK. Glad everything is good. I think that guy is pretty much done now tho. I do see that he reported you and you got a warning. Too bad. I didnt think you said anything out of line. - Rjd0060 00:05, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Talk page comments
Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Big Brother 8 (US). Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If you really feel that the comments don't belong on the talk page anymore, then archive them, don't delete them. --Darkwind (talk) 01:58, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for the warning template. About "Jury Member" in the last column, We were going to leave it as jury member until the final vote. Then it will be changed. - Rjd0060 01:10, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

I know what you were trying to do. I didnt want you to work too hard at it though because we might be keeping it as "Evicted" opposed to nominated. See the new discussion about it. - Rjd0060 02:22, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Miraclesscreencapep2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Miraclesscreencapep2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:07, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tothe5boroughscorrectartwork.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Tothe5boroughscorrectartwork.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 01:55, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Membership Reconfirmation
Hello there! If you're receiving this message, it means that you are currently in the Participants category of The Office WikiProject. A message involving reconfirmation was included in the current newsletter, but it was a bit buried, and I wanted to make sure that everyone received notice of this so we can get as accurate of a count as we can. The WikiProject is currently trying to find how many users listed in the Participants section are active members, and if you have a spare moment later, it would be a big help if you noted your reconfirmation by simply signing your signature here. And if you're a non-member reading this, feel free to drop by and add your name to the reconfirmation category; you'll be added into the list once it's finished. Thanks, and have a great day! Thanks for taking the time to read this fourth edition of the project's newsletter. As always, thanks to anyone who made any type of edit that improved an article relating to The Office. The size of the edit or edits does not matter, as any help ultimately helped out that article, and thus the entire Project. As always, don't forget to check into the project main page every once and a while, where I will periodically post announcements that are related to different events. Have a great month everybody, and happy editing! If you would like to offer any suggestions on the creation, appearance, or any other matter of the newsletter, please message me at my talk page. I'm bound to miss something that's happened with the project, so if I miss anything, please inform me of the error. |
