[edit] The Weaknesses
It says that the feed neck is brittle. I actually own the gun and have had it for about a year, and I have had no problems with the gun itself except that the asa requires a large amount of oil in order to stay reliably smooth.
It says that it uses paintballs and CO2 too fast. Is this really a weakness that it can shoot fast? Oh and really you shouldn't probaly be using CO2 on a MR2...its bad for the marker to not use HPA. Caleb09 21:58, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- I dunno. It doesn't seem like a weakness to me, but perhaps it's gas system is inefficient because of it, and chops balls too. Again, I dunno. Ask RavenStorm. He used to have one. Or was it an MR1? At any rate, he'd be the one to ask. ~ Maximilli, 22:20, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
I agree completely. All of these paintball articles that I've made need a lot of improvement. I simply create articles like these (see Spyder MR1 and Spyder Rodeo) as the foundation for better articles. I also need better pictures: I have the MR1 covered, but one of the priorities of the WikiProject Paintball is to add a LOT of paintball pictures to WikiPedia. "Weakness" removed. --Ravenstorm 03:10, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merging
I'm considering merging the Spyder Victor articles into one "Spyder Victor series" article. I'm also considering doing the same for the Spyder MR series. In the spirit of consultation, I wanted to ask everyone before I got bold. --Donutmonger 06:47, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Being the author of both Spyder MR series articles, I'll agree with this merge on two conditions... 1) You do all the technical work. That's the easy part... 2) You add the Spyder MR3 to that article. Doesn't need to be long, just create a stub. Good idea though. RavenStorm 00:07, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
