[edit] Usage

This template categorizes pages into Category:Semi-protected. For talk pages that are semi-protected, use Template:SprotectedTalk. For articles that are semi-protected for longer periods of time, use {{sprotected2}}.

Adding this template to an article does not protect it. Protection can only be applied by administrators, and can be requested at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection.
