[edit] Kansas City Brigade
Before, the article listed the Brigade as a speculated tenant. User:3bulletproof16 removed the speculated tag, essentially stating that the Brigade is, in fact, a tenant at the Sprint Center. I have reverted this, but changed the wording to unofficial. The Brigade intends to move to the Sprint Center, but nothing at this time is official about the move. I have also added a source for this information. This shouldn't be confused with speculation. Senorpepr 03:19, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
I should add that I've adjusted the status on the Brigade since they have officially announced their move to the Sprint Center in 2008. Senorpepr 13:51, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clippers' and Other Teams' Interest
Like the Brigade situation, User:3bulletproof16 removed this information citing that it's speculative. This is incorrect. According to the cited news story, officials at the Sprint Center confirmed that the Clippers, as well as two unnamed teams of unnamed sports (granted, it's probably either NBA or NHL, but that doesn't need to be in the article) have expressed interest in making the Sprint Center their home. I bet I know the other two teams.
1: Sacramento Kings (Sacramento city government is not going to give them the money for a new arena) 2: Seattle (Same deal as Sacramento)
I could be wrong, but then again I cannot think of no other team who wants to relocate because of Arena issues.

I knew I was right about Seattle, I bet you the other team will be the Sacramento Kings. My other question is what other NHL team other than the Penguins have talked about relocating to K.C.? My idea would be to have a minor league team in Kansas City playing for the AHL, CHL wherever. BigBoi29 18:20, 23 May 2007 (UTC)BigBoi29
The NHL team that keeps popping up (other than Pittsburgh) is the Nashville Predators... although just recently they have been "sold" to the same guy that was going to "buy" the Penguins, but later backed out. ...stay tuned... Senorpepr 13:54, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Didn't they just get sold to some guy who's trying to move them to Canada?BigBoi29 18:06, 23 July 2007 (UTC)BigBoi29
[edit] Concert Section
- Chris Brown and Bow Wow along with Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston, and Lil' Mama performed on January 11, 2008.
- Doodlebops 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm shows on January 25, 2008.
This needs to stay like it is on the article page because this is correct. The Doodlebops did not perform on 1-11-08 which they perform on 1-25-08. The Up Close and Personal tour concert performed at 7 pm on 1-11-08. Check the website to see if I'm wrong. Someone put the wrong date for the Doodlebops. Dj crunk (talk) 16:56, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Why does this section exist?
I'm wondering why a listing of concerts and other "one-time" events is being maintained here; it reads like a diary of sorts. Is this kind of record kept for other arena entries on Wikipedia? If not, I'd recommend it be removed. Overboard (talk) 19:06, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. Most other articles about arenas (especially the better articles) do not include this stuff. I will remove most of it, and reformat the few most notable ones into a standard paragraph. -- χγʒ͡ʒγʋᾳ (talk) 08:27, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
