"He is desperate about his life and is contemplating suicide, perhaps due to his boss, who puts down Sammy's dreams."

I took the liberty of removing this, as I feel it is not an accurate representation of the song's content. This is one of many plausible interpretations of the song, but unless anyone can provide proof that this is the correct one, I'm leaving it out.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.163.100.133 (talkcontribs) 02:45, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Piano

John doesn't play the piano on the record. He just did it for the first part of the video because Freddie was bladdered during filming. Reasons to be certain about that are:

- In most cases (including this, I reckon), piano, bass and drums were recorded simultaneously as part of the backing track. A notable exception is Deacon's song, You're My Best Friend, and of course, the tunes not having piano.

- Playing style is clearly Freddie's, especially at the end

- Credits don't mention John playing the piano in there. That's still not a 100% proof since credits often omitted details (for instance, in the same album, Brian played piano on All Dead All Dead and it isn't mentioned).
