Sprot Baronets

The Sprot Baronetcy, of Garnkirk, in the County of Lanark, Scotland, was created on 1 February 1918 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom for the much-decorated British Army officer Colonel Alexander Sprot. He subsequently seved as a Unionist Party Member of Parliament from 1918–1922 and from 1924 until his death in 1929, when the title became extinct.
