Springdale Municipal Airport (IATA: SPZ, ICAO: KASG, FAA LID: ASG) is a public airport located one mile (2 km) southeast of the central business district of Springdale, a city in Washington County, Arkansas, USA. The airport covers 221 acres (89 ha) and has one runway. [1]
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Springdale Municipal is assigned ASG by the FAA and SPZ by the IATA (which assigned ASG to Ashburton Aerodrome in Ashburton, New Zealand). The airport's ICAO identifier is KASG. [2] [3]
