Spotlight is a process for article expansion whereby a number of editors get together online and all concentrate on simultaneously expanding a single article. The coordination of these activities takes place on #wikipedia-spotlight on the freenode IRC network (see the IRC tutorial for help with IRC). The first article undertaken by the Spotlight crew was Polar exploration. Look at how much the article improved in under two hours.

The article currently under the Spotlight is Artificial sunlight.

If you do not have access to IRC, add sections to the Spotlight sandbox.

It is recommended that you add yourself here.
