[edit] Drake
Nice work with the multiple year pages. Is that your favorite team? Goodluck in the tourney, I'll be rooting for you guys! -Airtuna08 (talk) 01:37, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: NCAA Tournament bids
I am flattered that you would ask, but I know almost next to nothing about the women's side of March Madness. Well, other than Uconn/Tenn win a lot. I really enjoy the men's tourney mostly.
Which reminds me, after Selection Sunday the 'Bids by Conference' chart will need updating and math-checking. Thank you and good luck to your team(s). -- EnjoysButter (talk) 07:05, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What it means to assume good faith
Hey there, SM. I am still working to resolve the issue you raised on the Wikiquette alerts page. In the meantime, however, I would like to warn you to be more careful to always assume good faith, and talk a little bit about what this means.
Assuming good faith means that if you see a user apparently engaged in disruptive behavior, your first thought should be, "Is it possible this was done by accident/by lack of understanding/otherwise in good faith?" In particular, I think you failed to ask this question in regards to the allegations of falsified timestamps on the part of GH. While it is true that GH made an edit in which the timestamps were incorrect, it is clear to me that this was not done with the intention to deceive. First of all, there would be no incentive, as the earlier (incorrect) timestamp was still four minutes after you made the comment to WP:WQA. Furthermore, upon examining the edit, it was obvious to me what had happened: GH had added a couple of other high school sports conferences to the AfD discussion on 20:02, then decided later to just include the whole category. He edited his earlier comment, deleting the links to the couple of articles he had added, and replaced it with the link to the category -- and as a result, the timestamp did not get updated.
This was clear to me, but you seem to be operating under an assumption of bad faith, such that you look for the most malicious explanation rather than the most benign one. This goes against the principles of Wikipedia, and I would urge you to try harder to assume good faith. While I have some concerns with a couple of GH's editing tendencies, I see absolutely no reason to believe he is acting out of malice, and at least on other editor who has examined the case agrees with me. Assuming good faith is one of the central principles of Wikipedia, and I would urge you to adhere to it more strictly.
Thanks, and happy wiki-ing! --Jaysweet (talk) 14:41, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] LA Lakers Roster
Hey, sorry for any comments you've might have been offended by in the past, I'm beginning to see you do some really nice work here. That LA roster page must have taken forever! --FancyMustard (talk) 20:21, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, the Celtics one is really nice. Gonna be tough finding all the necessary flags for the current Lakers. Radmanovic, Vujacic, etc :p. But goodluck with it; it would look awesome like the Celtics one. --FancyMustard (talk) 20:31, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
