No mention of Football? They're even in the World Cup this year! - Adam Mathias 20:07, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

It's because some anon came in and messed up the whole page. I reverted back to the pre-Anon version.--Zereshk 20:16, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Valid, I'd say. Also, maybe there should be a small section on chess - it also originated there, and the vocabulary (for instance "shah-mat" (checkmate (literally "king dead")) and the name "shah" (chess) itself) are used in their uncorrupted Persian form in many important languages of the world (for instance German, Serbo-Croatian and Russian and most if not all Slavic languages, and most if not all Middle Eastern languages), and in a second-hand form with ultimately Persian roots in English, Spanish, French, etc. - Adam Mathias 22:00, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
As far as how much it is currently played, I'll ask somebody who knows. - Adam Mathias 22:00, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, Chess needs to be addded. Forgot about that one. --Zereshk 05:55, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
