[edit] Major Changes

Hi All,

Made some major layout changes to The Spoonman page today. Added a radio-show infobox, the show's logo as a picture, Changed the layout and presentation of some of the key headings within the aritcle as well as fixed some minor puncuation and spelling errors.

The article still needs a lot of work please feel free to contribute/modify. Jimbo82 (talk) 06:15, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Don't be alarmed all, i have made a new page for the spoonman, Spoonman's Classic Rock Show, as it is the name of the show now. I hade created a redirect from "The Spoonman". Please no one change this. Inirapsag (talk) 11:09, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spoony's Award

There was a claim that Spoony had won an award, but there was no citation given.

Spoony was recently named hottest kitchen utensil on radio.

It seems likely that it was just a joke inserted by a vandal, so I removed it from the article. However, I moved it here just in case someone can verify its source. Lachlan.hunt 04:27, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Biggest Fan Award

The biggest fan award is infact true, whoever keeps removing it obviously hasn't listened or has any idea about the show.

[edit] Spoony's Award

Spoonman was voted Hottest Kitchen Utensil on Radio; by The Spoonman Fanclub. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.237.177.162 (talk) 07:08, 29 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Criticisms - Online Petition

Why was the reference to the petition removed from Criticisms? I think it should be there because it provides some evidence of the claims made in the criticisms section. --Lachlan.hunt 12:10, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Dunno - I was just looking through it and there are quite a few links mixed up all over the place. Might be worth trawling through the history to find it?
I'll watch the page from now on so it doesn't happen again GreenGopher 12:31, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I agree it needs to be there, because it is a valid opinion, but I gave it less emphasis because the petition is now marked closed. Stu 11:40, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ban unregistered editing

To help stop morons putting stupid crap on this page, we should limit it to registered members, also, i made a page about brian, so the brian carlton page is no longer a simple redirect. (Inirapsag 02:28, 5 June 2007 (UTC))

Wikipedia is open to everyone to edit. Yes it can be frustrating when people do silly things, vandalise..etc but that's the nature of an open and public encyclopedia. --Mikecraig 02:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
That why you report vandals. Of course, they will eventually get banned. However, protection wise, it isn't likely to succeed -- Warfreak 02:37, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] footnote links

footnote links to podcasts need to be updated, as the the triple m site has been redesigned and makes the current links redundant.

done! Jimbo82 (talk) 07:21, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Show has changed name.

I have changed some things on the page because the show is now called Spoonman's Classic Rock Show.

i found out the new name via the program guide on the triple m website. Inirapsag (talk) 08:59, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Footnotes/Links

The article seems to stop dead after the "controversy" section. The links to fan pages or the links to references are gone. Does anyone know what happened? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Meshuggah010 (talkcontribs) 03:31, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
