The Spot-necked Bulbul (Pycnonotus tympanistrigus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is endemic to Indonesia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
