Sport Goofy in Soccermania is a Disney cartoon.
It was released in 1986. In this half-hour special, Scrooge McDuck gives Huey, Dewey, and Louie an old trophy for a soccer tournament he thinks is useless, but is actually worth a million dollars. To win back the trophy, Scrooge enlists the help of a surprisingly athletic and agile Goofy, who ends up coaching a ragtag team of misfits Scrooge sponsors to win the trophy back. Unfortunately, Scrooge has to contend with the Beagle Boys to win back the trophy.
This cartoon marks the first time Russi Taylor voices Huey, Dewey, and Louie, taking the role from Clarence Nash. Pixar alumni Joe Ranft was co-writer of the story, along with future Ducktales writer Tad Stones.
