Sport 5 (Hebrew: ספורט 5, Sport Hamesh), also known as the Sports Channel (Hebrew: ערוץ הספורט, Arutz HaSport) is an Israeli television station. Available for free on basic cable and satellite, the channel is devoted to sport. However, since the inception of its subsidiary channel Sport 5+ for which a subscription is charged, it has lost almost all of its notable content, [1], though it is still used to show UEFA Champions League matches in tandem with 5+.
In March 2007 the company launched two new channels, 5+ Live (for live sport) and 5+ Gold (repeats of classic sports action).
