[edit] Usage

Include the title of the proposed new article as a parameter. For example, {{splitsections|New article}} would generate the following:

Split section
 It has been suggested that some sections of this page be split into a new page entitled New article. (Discuss)



If possible, instead use {{splitsection|New Article}} in each of the sections that should be split into the new article.

Either template will add tagged articles to Category:Articles to be split.
